Gulf Coast Native, just like you would find at Sturbridge Village. Raised on grass and grain.

The same breed as Old Sturbridge Village, the Gulf Coast Native (and a couple of Romney's too),  are raised on grass, local hay and of course non GMO grain.

Video's From the Farm

Busy Meat Chickens

Twice a year we raise about 75 or more meat chickens.  We move them a few times weekly within their hen houses to give them fresh grass and daily grain.  They also help us naturally fertilize the lawn as a added bonus!

Happy Sheep and Pasture Rotation

Our sheep graze on grass and limited grain during the spring, summer and fall.  In the winter they have local hay and grain.  We usually have about 8-10 new lambs a year.

Pigs

Down on the farm we have our pigs help us with clearing land.  They love rooting.  They go crazy for acorns and pumpkins (a

natural de-wormer) too!  Turn the volume up and listen to them pick fresh pasture over their non GMO grain!

Egg Layer Chickens

Not to be outdone, our hen layer chickens love to get out and help scratch and dig for bugs and worms.  We also feed our hen layers fruit and veggie scraps along with their grain.
